February 2008 New Crafton street signs are going up! Thanks to our 2007 Gala fundraising, only 12 corners await new signs! Let's make 2008 the year we complete the Street Sign project! All of the old signs that come down will be available for purchase through the Crafton Historical Society. For those of you who have been on the waiting list for a specific sign, you will be contacted if your sign has become available. All of the signs not committed to someone on the waiting list and all of the signs that went unsold last year will be placed for sale in Crafton Park on the evening of July 4. If you would like to purchase a sign in advance or join the waiting list, you may contact Megan Schriver by email at Schriver@verizon.net or by phone at 412-922-1037. FYI,
if you would like to sponsor a corner, or would like to head up
a collection in your neighborhood to help us along, the current
cost for sponsorship is $275 per corner. This is for the pole and
2 street signs. (Actual cost on the corner is $435) Let us know
what particular corner you are interested in! |
