Hours
of operation
The Crafton Historical Society room is open by appointment only by calling 412-922-6884. We are in need of volunteers to staff the room to make our resources open to the public. Availability is flexible, but the staffed hours should occur regularly at least once a week (and during Crafton Library hours). Interested volunteers should expect a typical office environment and duties including filing, answering phone, taking messages, and retrieving mail. Please send an email to CraftonHS@hotmail.com if you are interested

The society accepts donated
materials related to Crafton’s history, such as photos, books,
maps, pictures, letters, diaries and property histories. If you

and return them to you immediately. Please call us at 412-922-6884
to arrange a pickup or a photo session.

your house history
We receive many inquiries
from former and present Crafton residents looking for information
about the house they just purchased or the one they lived in when
they were growing up in Crafton. We are compiling a House History
file with basic information about Crafton’s homes. If you
would like to add your house history to the file, fill out and return
My House History. (under contruction)
If you would like help
